The RNA Clean & Concentrator kits are RNA clean up kits that provide a simple and reliable method for the rapid preparation of high-quality RT-PCR-ready, DNA-free (R1013, R1014) RNA. This simple procedure is based on the use of a unique single-buffer system and Zymo-Spin column technology that allows for selective recovery of total RNA (> 17 nt), large RNAs (> 200 nt), and/or small RNAs (17-200 nt).
The procedure is easy: Add binding buffer and ethanol to your sample, then bind, wash and elute ultra pure RNA. The RNA can be eluted from the Zymo-Spin IC Column in as little as ≥ 6 µl of RNase-free...

OK for tissue or large starting material, not OK for small starting material

Only good for samples with high concentration to start with. Will lose over 50%, even more with lowly concentrated RNA (under 20 ng/uL).

RNA cleaning and concentrating -5 kit is a powerful product for purifying total and/or smallRNA and more importantly has a 2-in-1 option to remove gDNA and/or other non-specific products for downstream analysis. The kit is straightforward to use and easy to follow. More importantly, the Zymo community is very costumer-friendly and always available to help. I had an issue with the kit and contacted customer services, they helped me a timely mummer and even replaced my kit for free. JOB WELL DONE!
