MYF6 is a part of the myogenic basic helix loop helix family of transcription factors, and can activate the muscle differentiation program. It is thought to induce fibroblasts to differentiate into myoblasts. Defects in MYF6 are the cause of centronuclear myopathy. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
