KRT5 encodes the type II keratin 5, an intermediate filament chain expressed largely in stratified squamous epithelia. Mutations in KRT5 cause epidermolysis bullosa simplex. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
