The clone C-D12, a mouse monoclonal antibody selectively binds with the 70kd tyrosine phosphoprotein known as ZAP-70 which is usually associated with the ζ-chain CD3-receptor-associated protein tyrosine kinase (PTK). It is a member of the Syk family that is localized exclusively to the cytosol of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells and  is required for their cellular activation.
