Description
Palmitoleic acid alkyne is a form of palmitoleic acid (Item No. 10009871) with an ω-terminal alkyne that can be used in click chemistry reactions. It has been used in the study of protein palmiteoylation. cis-Palmitoleic acid alkyne, but not trans-palmitoleic acid alkyne, labels wild-type, but not S209A mutant, Wnt3a in mouse fibroblast L-cells expressing Wnt3a. It also labels secreted wild-type Wnt3a in conditioned media.
