Abiraterone acetate-d4 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of abiraterone acetate (Item No. 15148) by GC- or LC-MS. Abiraterone acetate is an inhibitor of the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoform CYP17A1 (IC50s = 17 and 18 nM for inhibition of C17,20-lyase and 17α-hydroxylase activities, respectively).
