SUMMARY
T-cell Immunoglobulin and Mucin-Domain-Containing Molecule-3 (TIM3) is present on T-helper type 1 lymphocytes and other immune cells including dendritic cells and natural killer cells. TIM3 is overexpressed in CD4+ tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, including those with non-small cell lung cancer associated with poor prognoses. TIM3 has recently emerged as a potential target for cancer immunotherapy.
INTENDED USE
This antibody is intended for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use.

Anti-TIM3 Antibody is intended for qualified laboratories to qualitatively identify by light microscopy the presence of associated antigens in sections of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections using IHC test methods.

Use of this antibody is indicated, subsequent to clinical differential diagnoses of diseases, as an aid in the identification of cancers within the context of antibody panels, the patient’s clinical history and other diagnostic tests evaluated by a qualified pathologist.
