BDP TMR NHS ester. BDP TMR is a borondipyrromethene dye, analog of BODIPY® TMR. This is an amine-reactive NHS ester for the labeling of proteins, peptides, and other molecules with amino groups. BDP TMR is a dye for TAMRA channel, which is however much brighter than TAMRA. Because of rather long life time of excited state, this fluorophore is a good choice for fluorescence anisotropy measurements, especially with the short linker offered. Fluorescence polarization is an excellent method for high throughput binding assays.
