I used Kemtecs Drug and Poison lab 14 yrs ago when I started teaching Forensic Science in CT. After teaching in NC for 8 yrs, I finally convinced my school to offer forensics. I knew that I needed to get this kit again, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was even better than it had been years ago. It has been updated (mercury compound eliminated) and expanded. My students love the simulated marijuana (wish there was a refill for that) and simulated LSD. They now include universal indicator and Scotts reagent, which is an indicator that is actually used in the field. Any time we can offer the "real deal" rather than simulated experiences, it is a win in my book! You can spend several days doing multiple labs with this kit. Very easy to use and great information in the instructors manual. One kit would work for 2 classes if you manage it well. A must for any high school forensic science teacher!
