Wolfe® Cordless Advanced LED Monocular Microscope

I recently ordered a class set of these microscopes and have been very pleased with the quality so far. The mechanical stage moves very smoothly allowing for students to scan without losing focus. The students have not had any trouble with focusing at different powers and the lenses provide a clean image. I am especially pleased with the LED bulbs. Our previous (quite old) set of microscopes used a standard bulb and the LED provides a much whiter and crisper light. The cordless feature allows us to work as needed without being restricted by the limited outlets in my classroom. The batteries hold their charge for quite a while- definitely enough to get through an entire day of student use without needing to recharge. It is clear that these are quality microscopes and are built well. They are quite heavy so the handle gives me peace of mind when students are moving them. They are also quite compact and store easily in a standard cabinet.
