This unique, automatic watering system was developed in the classroom for growing Brassica plants. Excellent choice for growing Wisconsin Fast Plants®. The watering system consists of 1 watering tray with platform lid (item #158975) for holding 8 quads (item #158960, not included), 2 water mats (item #158977), 70 quad wicks (item #158978), and 2 anti-algal squares (item #158979). The sturdy "blue diamond" quad wicks are very effective for drawing moisture from the water mat to the quad.

I love these. Its so worth it to not worry about plants or seeds drying out over the weekend. Wrapping the boxes in foil does help stop algae growth nicely. Extra water mats make nice skid pads you slide the water boxes without having the foil mark up your counter.
