The glo germ lotion is very effective for teaching kids about the transfer of germs. The mini UV light is not powerful enough to see the lotion even with all classroom lights off and window shades closed. The reptile light from our terrarium gave great results with the lotion. My advice is just buy the large bottle lotion and get your own UV light at the pet store.
This mini Germ Glo kit works with all ages.
