The 60- to 75-Larvae/Food Set comes with 60 to 75 larvae and food. Additional larvae are supplied with each Larvae/Food Set to ensure that at least 60 to 75 larvae emerge as healthy adults, but the quantity of food is only sufficient for 60 to 75 larvae. Additional food must be purchased if you wish to maintain the additional larvae. Note: This Larvae/Food Set does not include the Culture Cup Set (item #144068)....

This was my second purchase of live butterfly larvae from Carolina Biologicals, and once again everything arrived in perfect order with every single little tiny first instar healthy and happy. As a card carrying entomologist, I appreciate CBs excellent product. The Painted Lady Butterfly project is the annual highlight of my grandkids preschool, and I really appreciate having such a reliable source for the material. I never worry about having a “crop failure” and the kids are totally enchanted when the butterflies emerge.
