SP100 forms a homodimer and may play a role in the control of gene expression. It localizes to nuclear bodies (NBs), also referred to as Kr-bodies, ND10, or PODs. Splice variants of SP100 heterodimerize. SP100 interacts with members of the HP1 family of nonhistone chromosomal protein, such as CBX5 and CBX3 via the PxVxL motif.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For maximum recovery of product, 11c7entrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
