MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.
Macrophages and histiocytes, which are widely distributed throughout the body, play a crucial role in the body defense mechanisms. They are heterogenous in morphology, cytochemistry, function and surface antigens. Immunohistochemical labeling with monoclonal antibodies is one of the most specific and reliable techniques for the identification...

SPECIFIC ACTIVITY
Recognizes porcine cells of the monocyte/macrophage lineage. Stains macrophages in a range of tissues, including the thymus, spleen periarteriolar lymphoid sheath (PALS), spleen red pulp and the Peyer’s patches. Expression has also been reported on some non-heamatopoietic cells including endothelial cells. Expression of the antigen is increased with maturation, with higher expression on peritoneal and alveolar macrophages. Some expression has also been observed on peripheral blood lymphocytes. Recognizes a 105kD antigen in pig macrophages.
