LIS-1 (Lissencephaly 1) is a member of the WD repeat LIS1/nudF family and the main cause of classical lissencephaly, a neuronal migration disorder resulting in epilepsy and mental retardation, which is characterized by a lack of normal convolutions and hence smooth brain surface. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
