CD61 cell surface antigen is also known as platelet glycoprotein IIIa. CD61 is expressed by platelets and megakaryocytes, but not by other hematopoietic cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and frozen): Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
