Binds heavy metals. Contains three zinc and three copper atoms per polypeptide chain and only a negligible amount of cadmium. Inhibits survival and neurite formation of cortical neurons in vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.
