Hands-on Application, even if a little old-school

This lab made a good hands-on application of how blood type is used in a real-world setting. The process actually used is a little outdated, but still a great application experiment without having to use real blood.
It can also be used in combination with a students blood test to let them see which of the samples (if any) could donate to them as an extension activity.
A third level of differentiation could be to let students volunteer to identify their own blood types and chart who could donate to each other ... and which could only be one-way donors.
