These ECG electrodes work well with the Vernier EKG sensor for both resting ECG and EMG analysis. I have successfully used them both using the limb-placement locations per the Vernier instructions and in traditional torso locations. They are not optimal for exercise ECG (which the Vernier sensor isnt really designed for anyway), but is good for a non-diagnostic setting to at least give a good idea of how it would work.
