Durable and easy to clean, we have used these for classroom dissections of preserved specimens for years and years. Theyre impervious to solvents and preservatives and wash up easily with soap and water or Simple Green type eco friendly cleaner. They hold pins and resist scalpel cuts, and the self-healing pad works great. Easily replaced too, if needed. They are stackable/nestable for storage. The newest ones have pleasantly lemon-y scented pads, which is great when working with fishy specimens.

I am so excited about these trays!! I doubled the amount of dissections I did last year and dissecting turtles, dogfish, and pigeons in our tiny trays was such a mess! These are large enough I am fairly certain even the dogfish wont hang over the edge of these. We will spend much less time scrubbing shark oil off of the lab tables. They seem durable but I will not be using them until next year. I would like it even more if the blue cutting mat were thicker.
