We have been using Carolinas Perfect Solution Cow eyes exclusively for the past two years for our dissection programs and have never had any issues. The preservative is not very noxious and easy to work with. Our eyes are always delivered to us in a timely manner and the company has great customer service when needed.
Cow vs. Sheep
Cristian F.
I decided to try the larger cow eye versus the cheaper, smaller sheep eye to use for middle schoolers. The perfect solution did have less odor and the larger parts were easy for students to locate, but the tissue was difficult to cut through and lens was cloudy to use for magnification observations. This feature may only be available with fresh eyes from local market.
