Great for small groups or for students who are learning at home! Grades 6–12 . Shine a light on energy transfer. Students build a prototype solar car by following a provided set of instructions. After the build, they test their solar car to see how quickly or how far it can go. Then students are challenged to improve their design as they consider the lessons learned from their first tests. Materials support a single student or a small group of students. Includes instructions.
