Quads, 4-Cell Foam Planters, Pack of 16

These look nice the first time you use them and they are truly space and soil efficient. Between soil, algae, tape residue and the pyramidal internal shape these are pretty impossible to ever look as nice the second time around even with bleach. You cant really scrub Styrofoam like you can plastic. I raise my own F2 seed and I prefer individual containers I can move around depending on height. Id guess that filter-less krugs cups and liquid fertilizer would work just as well for a students 2-3 plant container.

These styro cell quads work very well but are expensive for what you get. We realize they are supposed to be washed and reused, but that isnt always practical and some instructors prefer to the students to label the quads with sharpies and throw them away after lab.
