I ordered this same kit 2 years ago and the pigs were nice and large. These pigs, however, are very small only a little bigger than the rats I ordered last year. While they will serve the purpose, I was expecting them to be much larger. The picture does not accurately show the true size of them.

SYSTEMS OF THE HUMAN BODY, LIFE SCIENCE

I ordered 6 of these fetal pigs for my 5th grade students. They were in groups of 5, and had an amazing experience learning about the organs and systems of the body to culminate our study of the body systems. I have a hand full of kids that want to be surgeons or researchers as a result of this opportunity. I even have one low income student that was a bit scared at first, and lacked the drive on day one to even attend college. She now says, "I am going to college, and I am going to work in surgery rooms." It doesnt get much better than that.
