The RTS pIVEX E. coli vectors are designed for high-yield cell-free expression of His6-tagged proteins using a broad range of RTS expression kits.
The two vectors contain all regulatory elements necessary for in vitro expression based on a combination of T7 RNA polymerase and RTS expression lysates. They enable the attachment of a His6-tag in different orientations at the C- and N-terminus of the protein. Cloning into RTS pIVEX His6-tag vectors allows optimal protein expression with high yields.
