NMDA receptor subtype of glutamate-gated ion channels with reduced single-channel conductance, low calcium permeability and low voltage-dependent sensitivity to magnesium. Mediated by glycine. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
