Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is also known as CD66e and is a member of the immunoglobulin supergene family that is mainly expressed on epithelial cells. CD66e may play a role in cancer cells metastasis, and has been used clinically as a tumor marker for early detection of disease.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry (Not Tested), Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. pronase.
Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections
