B. pertussis is a non-motile, gram-negative bacteria that is the common causative agent for whooping cough. B. bronchiseptica is a closely related species that is often involved in respiratory tract infection in smaller mammals.

Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
