CCAAT-enhancer binding protein epsilon (CEBP e) is a 32kD basic-leucine zipper transcription factor that is expressed in myeloblasts, granulocytes, and eosinophils. Multiple isoforms of human CEBP e are generated by alternate splicing and alternative translation initiation sites.
